World Cup Fever

Once every 4 years, doctors all over the world are puzzled by a series of illness where numerous women would declare themselves as “widow” for a month. Yet to many people, this syndrome is simply known as “World Cup Fever”. This is the time when temperature of woman rise, and felt that their husbands are as good as dead. However, to the man, this fever is simply adrenalin. For Asians especially, man would stay up late and yet be ready for work the next day since many soccer matches would be telecast after midnight due to the difference in time zone. While some watch at home, many would opt to watch it with other supporters in pubs and even in Kopitiams. And in JB, the perfect place to watch and dine at the same time would be in Singgah Selalu. With its large capacity filled with tables and projector screen, along with its large varieties of food to choose from – Western delights to Asian cuisine, BBQ Stingray to Tom Yum Soup, but the best of all would be Prata. I have tried the egg prata and the “tissue” prata, and both are high-quality. I would also highly recommend the “Teh-O to go along with your prata, of which the taste of the tea is simply different from the ones you can get here, don’t ask me why. Most important of all, the whole experience only cost me less than RM10, a steal if you ask me.
