1. Buy 2 (two) Ben & Jerry’s pints (one of which must be Phish Food)

2. Exchange the original receipt at any Ben & Jerry’s Singapore scoop shop to redeem the phone jackets. Customers are free to select a design while stocks last!!!

3. Upon redemption, customers also get to purchase a limited edition Phish Food Sundae at $10 (usual price $12.50).

Healthy Cooking Recipe: Vegetarian Stir-fry Korean Glass Noodles with Spicy Pepper Paste

Vegetarian Stir-fry Korean Glass Noodles with Spicy Pepper Paste (4 servings)

Vegetarian Stir-fry Korean Glass Noodles with Spicy Pepper Paste

100g Korean glass noodles
2no Wood ear fungus
1tbsp Cooking oil
3clove Garlic, minced
1bunch Spinach, wash well and drained
1no Carrot, julienned
½no Large onion, thinly sliced
5stalk Spring onion, cut 3cm

Seasoning

2tbsp Sesame oil, divided
2tbsp Soy sauce
2tsp Sugar
1tbsp Spicy Pepper Paste
1tsp Water

Garnish

3stalk Spring onion, cut 3cm
1 tbsp Sesame seed

Method

1. Soak glass noodles in hot water till soft. Drain, tossed with 1 tbsp sesame oil, cut into shorter pieces and set aside.

2. Soak dried wood ear fungus in water for about 20 minutes or until soft. Cut out and discard the middle bit of wood ear fungus if it is hard. Sliced it thin.

3. Mixed the reminder of the seasoning and set aside.

4. Add cooking oil in a wok or pan on high heat and swirl to coat. When cooking oil is hot, fry onions and carrots, for about 1 minute.

5. Add the garlic, spring onion and wood ear fungus, fry 30 seconds.

6. Add the spinach and glass noodles and fry 2-3 minutes. Add seasoning and continue frying until the noodles are cooked through.

7. Remove off heat, and garnished with spring onion, sesame seeds and remaining 1 tbsp of sesame oil. Served hot.
